Holland Cruises

Has anyone been on any of the Holland cruises? We got a great price for a 7 night out of NY to Bermuda but I have never been on this ship. Just looking to see if anyone has been on this ship before and if you liked it. TIA

Re: Holland Cruises

We went on the Zuiderdam to the Caribbean a few years ago.
It was an older crowd (60s and up).
The ship was nice but I hear all of HAL is geared to that age bracket so don't expext much of anything to be open after 11pm.

Try Celebrity too - older crowd - but definitely younger than Holland America - they have a much older crowd.

Re: Holland Cruises

We took the Noodam out of NY to the Carribean in 2009. I LOVED it, it's very elegant and upscale. There were not a ton of kids which was great for us at the time (we didn't have kids yet). Yes, it's an older crowd and there isn't a huge nightlife but that was fine as we were looking for a relaxing low-key vacation. The food was amazing too!!
