Holiday Wreaths
where did you buy yours? we want to put wreaths in all the front window (13 in total) but don't want to spend a fortune. they are 2 for $16 at stop and shop but the quality seemd crappy. i am even open to fake wreaths as long as they look nice and are reasonably priced.
TIA

Re: Holiday Wreaths
If you really want that many wreaths and have the room to store them it would definitely be more cost efficient to buy fake instead of real. That would be a lot of money ever year for fake ones. Of course, do you have the room to store them.
I've thought about the same thing for my new house but I'd probably do fake and storage might become a problem for us.
Depending upon the size of the wreath $8. is a good price per wreath.

Re: Holiday Wreaths
We have one fake and one real. The fake one I decorated and made a bow for myself and it is on the front door, it looks great. I got it from Michael's. On our gate we have a real one with just a red bow, last year I bought it at Home Depot. I plan on gong later for another. I also saw nice one's at BJ's.

i thought about this as well. i do agree that over time it is definetly more cost effective to get the fake wreath. and yes, we have plenty of storage.

Re: Holiday Wreaths
If you can stand to wait, we bought things like this the day after Christmas for the following year. Hicks Nursery and other places like it had wreaths and all the supplies to decorate them for 1/2 off so if you're buying in bulk I'd start the collection after christmas. It stinks to have to get up and go shopping, but we get such fantastic deals.

Re: Holiday Wreaths
thanks so much. i found these from llbean. great price for 4. not sure if they are real or fake though. description reads "handcrafted" but that could mean many things. the others are real so i am assuming these are as well. i am going to call them.

Re: Holiday Wreaths
I just went to Michaels and got a bunch of them for my windows... They had two different sizes that I saw for the windows the smaller one is I think $1.97 and the larger was 2 and change. They are plan with nothing on them and look very flat but just perk them up a bit and throw a bow and maybe some pine cones and you are good to go. I bought 4 of them and it came out to 12 and change. I think i need to go back for 4 more though..
