Holiday Shopping in The Summer
I am one of those people who usually wait until AFTER thanksgiving to start thinking about the holidays. I start thinking about it and I'm still shopping up until Christmas Eve. But for some reason this year, I can't get the holidays off my mind. The entire summer I have been window shopping and planning and in fact, I have bought 3 gifts already for my DD. and planned 2 for the grandparents. I feel crazy for thinking about it so much when it is only August and I could be at the beach! Anyone else planned early this year?

Yes. usually I am last minute and do it over a few days shortly before the holidays. Hanukkah is super early this year so I want it done ASAP. Also we are going away in October.

I just made my holiday spreadsheet today.
I feel like with the extra gifts we need to buy from the kids, and with doing Hanukkah and Christmas, this is the time to start!
Also- a lot of on-line retailers have end of the summer sales, so I like to shop those for holiday gifts.

Hanukkah is the same week as thanksgiving, so I am right there with you. I have a couple of gifts for my kids already.

I've started. I got a great deal on plum district for little tikes, I got some cute stuff from target clearance, and I've orderd stuff on amazon. I really don't want to be shopping last minute this year!

I've been thinking about it too. Of course it doesn't help that I watch QVC to help me sleep and they have had some cute things on for the holidays!
It's nice on your wallet to start shopping early too.

I shop through the year, always looking for clearance items! Black Friday is usually my last shopping day, other than a few little things.

Holiday Shopping in The Summer
I bought something for my MIL already. I'm already starting to think about this being that DS#2 is coming in November and I know I'm not going to have the time to shop anywhere other than online. Plus $$ will be tighter then among other things. I'm already thinking of what I could get for others as well.
I usually start before Thanksgiving but not this early.
