Holiday photo card moms...is this a lot of money or the going rate??

Kiddie Kandids photos came out cute, so I went to order the Holiday Photo cards from them...40 bucks for 20 cards..and 20 dollars additional for each 10 extra?

I never did this before...but is that a lot??

That seems to be average. BBB has the same exact price and then they take off 20%

Yes. Thats alot.
Shutterly, Snapfish and/or Tiny Prints has cards for much less. You just need to upload your photo.

I personally think that's insane -

I have taken beautiful pics of Sean and made gorgeous cards on Kodak, Vistaprint, Shutterfly etc

But this is from someone who has yet to have a professional shot of her child and he's 19 months - My DSLR crapped out on me and I'm SO mad I may have to take him to one of those places before I get to replace it !!!

no, I just was able to finally log on and see my prints and order anything else I wanted (mugs, throws, cards, etc)

I did order some 8x10s and 5x7s, so those won't have a watermark....maybe theN i scan and upload them to make more economically-friendly cards. Chat Icon

I got mine through Shutterfly as well for about $0.50 a card, and then $10 off.

I also ordered photo books so I got 2 hardcover photobooks and 125 cards for $85 plus free shipping.

ETA - I got my pics done at Picture People. It was so mobbed and backed up, I just ordered the disk - I figured I would end up spending close to the same thing on a package.

Costco asks for a copyright release if you go the scanning route, at least the Holbrook location does.

When I used PP, I scanned the pictures and made a card via Tiny Prints.

I'm paying a little less than that for 130lb card stock 100% recycled paper photo cards from a carbon-neutral company. And they'll plant a tree with every order.
