holiday invites...

early I know but does anyone have ideas for simple, "classy" do it yourself invites for a business holiday party? no white with silver please. maybe dark burgundy with ?????


also, any good themes that would be relatively easy for the guests, as they would be coming straight from work?

wow...I can't even think about the holidays yet...

Um, let's see...green and gold, blue with silver and gold snowflakes, various shades of green with white.

thanks for replying....i just feel like the last few years the holiday party has been fun but a bit predictable. i am planning it this year and want to spice things up!!

Is it closer to christmas than thanksgiving? We have done a Thanksgiving reception where I work, and it was a hit and a blast! We had a Wheel that we spun for prizes..the prizes we had were turkeys (frozen), chocolate turkeys, and small fruit baskets...not everyone got a prize, but it was soooo fun! Ours was just a cocktail party, but it was soo much fun..I do not think we have had a theme though..

However, I have been to a few insurance conventions where there was themes...one year was the Rat pack era, and one year was casino themed, and one was themed breakfast at tiffanys....

Have you ever done an adult scavenger hunt?? OMG..its the best---we used to do it with Youth Group...it takes a TON of preparation though!

Or..you can do like they did on the end or beginnig of lets make a deal..and can be like, whoever is the first to give me a tylenol/paperclip/staple/toothpick, etc, gets a prize---and they can look inther pocketbooks, or pockets, etc..
