Holiday gift suggestion

Yes - I am already shopping for gifts. I would like to buy my teaching assistant a gift. She is absolutely wonderful. Usually I have a few TA's to buy for and this year she is my only one. I would like to spend around $50. I have had her for 2 years (and a few years before that as a 1:1 aide) and she has been amazing. She is an older woman with grandchildren. Any suggestions? I am totally at a loss here.

You can do an origami owl necklace. I am an origami owl designer but I know there is also one listed under vendors

How about a gift basket filled with things she likes? You could do coffee, tea, books, cookies, chocolate, etc. If she has any hobbies or interests you could include something to do with it.

I am always a fan of a beautiful silk scarf or a brooch that she can wear to work.
