Holiday gift exchanging between kids?
Do you buy gifts for your DC to exchange with each other?
And for Christmas - are all the presents you buy for DC from Santa or do you reserve some to be from Mommy and/or Daddy as well?

I am going to have DC pick out something small for each other. DS is 4 so I think he will 'get' the concept.
The 'big' gift and stockings are from Santa, the rest are usually from mommy and daddy.

We do get gifts for the kids to give to each other. They like it. And we usually say that some are from Santa and some are from Mom and Dad.

They each pick out a gift to give each other and we give them one gift from us. Everything else we buy is from Santa.

my kids buy each other a book. the twins are too young to get it, but DS had a good time last year picking out books for them and then i got him one from each of them.
as they get older i want to take each of them out shopping on their own to buy the books for their siblings.

We usually label a couple of gifts from one sib to the other. I think I'm going to ask DS if he wants to buy his sister a gift this year. I think it will mean a lot to him, and to her.
All presents are from Mommy and Daddy.
