Hmmm...
If you were me- would you test on Christmas?
My retrieval is tomorrow. Christmas day will be 2 days short of the 2 obligatory weeks. My beta is the 29th.
It could make for either a really, really awesome Christmas...or a really, really horrible one
I am thinking i'm gonna test before the beta anyway, because I will not be able to handle that phone call if it's bad news without being prepared beforehand. So- WWYD?

Hmm. Good question!
I really don't know anything about the hCG injections and how long they stay in your system... so that's affecting my opinion..

It depends, will you be able to relax on Christmas without knowing? My beta is xmas eve, which is also my bday - I thought about it and decided I wanted to know, rather than waiting (I'm not testing before) b/c it'll be on my mind no matter what- its gonna either be a sucky bday with drinking or an amazing present.

I am in a similar boat. I had an IUI on December 8 and AF is due on Christmas. I also am going away on Christmas for 10 days.
My RE's office does not automatically do betas so I have been debating about when to test. I think I have decided to test on either Monday, December 22 or Tuesday, December 23. But if either is negative, I might wind up testing again on Christmas
