Hives
My son broke out in hives a couple of weeks ago. It was only on the front, right where his onesie was. We thought that the onsie might have been washed in regular detergent. So I called the dr on call, and they said to give him benadryl. Then last week, the same thing happened. Again, I thought maybe it was a onesie that got caught in the wash. But now it happened again today, and I know for SURE that it wasn't from the wash. And its also on his back now, but very little (it looks like a rash all over his back), and welts on the front. I gave him bendaryl again..
I am not sure what it can be. He did start eggs, but the timing doesnt seem right. Also, the only thing that correlates is that he started yogurt----but it does not happen consistently---and he has yogurt at least once a day...any advice???

Re: Hives
one of my DDs breaks out in hives lot. my ped told me it was not a food thing, but rather, either sensitivity to the cold weather or a virus in their system. they will go away in a couple of days. they won't itch them, because they don't have a itching reflex yet, I was told.

My SIL's son just had hives - it came and went for a few days. He Dr. said it was from a virus.
