Hitting....AHHH my son just started this! what to do
My son is doing this as well. I keep telling him in a stern voice "No! We don't hit" and move on. He's only 22 months, and doesn't really understand time out yet. If he does it more than once, I ignore him. Then when I acknowledge him I tell him that every time he hits Mommy will not pay attention to you. I also try and talk to him on his level so that my eyes are even with his.
In our case, I think because he is not speaking too many words right now that he is frustrated that he can't totally communicate what he wants.
