Highlights tomorrow

Is there anything a should tell my hairdresser not to do? Also, would a toner be okay too?

Hey, i'm a hairdresser. Your allowed to get highlights and a toner bc it's semi permanent. Some pregnant women do permanant color but that is up to them. My dr said wait until after the first trimester and I think I'm still going to do demi permanent after that. So you are safe with your color!

You'd have to check with your OB. For me highlights were okay. Just told to wait until after first trimester. The highlights is more the smell. Most products these days are not as potent and "bleachy" smelling. Just make sure you're okay and the salon is ventilated. If you get a headache from the smell, then it's too much.

As far as the toner... that's what I would ask your OB about. I do not get a toner so I don't know. I know that hair color was the issue because it sits on your scalp and could be absorbed... as would a toner. But toners are usually for a short time. Me personally, I would not worry. But it's up to you and your OB.
