High School Reading teacher?
Can someone please tel me what a reading teacher in high school does? I am used to doing vowel sounds and decoding skills, now I just found out I have to do 1 class in the high school. Thanks

Did you get trained in the Wilson Reading program? Believe it or not there are alot of HS students that can't read. Sad but true! In my school we have the Wilson reading program for those students.

You may also work on effective reading skills. Taking notes, making connections, etc.

i was going to say that - where i used to work they did Wilson at the elem and middle school levels.

same with my school. I teach this program at my high school.
