High Risk OB Recommendation - RVC Are

Does anyone have any recommendations for a really good OB/GYN that may also do high risk? I am still in my first trimester and was told that I have placenta previa. I am confused if I should stay with my current doctor. They also thought that I was going to miscarry a few weeks ago with a blighted ovum, but I waited to re-confirm and cancelled my D&C appointment... and now have our miracle baby!!! It is an amazing story and I am just going to be optimistic for our beautiful healthy baby growing!!!

Or I would be willing to go to other areas in nassau if it may be better to go to a doctor with winthrop instead of south nassau... not sure... like the idea of the private rooms at south nassau where your baby can stay with you.

If you are looking for someone affiliated with Winthrop you may want to consider Winthrop Perinatal Associates in Mineola. They handle only high risk obstetrics. If you want to really deliver @ South Nassau there is Dr Robert Dean his office is in Garden City and he's the head of Obstetrics at South Nassau. Also Dr Ira Bachman I think his office is in Hewlett he is the head of gynecology at South Nassau. Hope that helps.

Try Dr. King & Dr. Blinderman in Rockville Centre - I know they treat high risk - My co-worker also had placenta previa and raved about Dr. King. I also use them but I had Dr. Blinderman and she was wonderful throughout my first pregnancy & delivery.
