High chair Booster seat that clamps /hangs off table?
What are the pros/cons to the type of high chair booster seat that has screws that tighten to clamp it to the edge of a table, vs the kind that you strap onto a chair. This would be to keep at a grandparents house, so portability is not an issue.
Is safety an issue?

Safety was not an issue for us - it was very stable - but a total PITA to put on and take off the table. I think we had the Chicco brand? We ended up getting a small booster seat with straps for putting on a chair and we liked that much better.

Just make sure to keep an eye out for the recall list as the type that clamps on to a table tends to get recalled a lot.
