High Chair - Space Saver vs. regular style high chair?

Ok so I have the FP Space Saver high chair but have not opened the box yet. We have 6 chairs at our kitchen table and figured we can just use one for the baby. It looks like it'd be nice to sit down next to her and feed her and she can sit close to us when we eat.

However I go back and forth and really like the Graco Blossum. We have room for it and I like that it is high up and I can wheel it into the kitchen while I am cooking. I mean I guess I can just drag the chair over too.

Which do you have and do you like it?

I had both a high chair and then a space saver. Save your money and just use the space saver. It is so much more convenient. Unless you plan to stand up to feed your DC all the time - go with the space saver.

We've only had the Space Saver and absolutely love it. No complaints whatsoever, we've used it with both our boys.

Honestly, if I had it to do all over again I would get the ikea highchair. It is compact and all molded plastic so just one quick wipe and you are good. I had the Chicco high chair which was great but I hated cleaning all the nooks and crannies in the vinyl upholstery. I ended up getting rid of it and using a fisher price space saving chair that was molded plastic and I could take on vacation or to my inlaws.

I agree afoot cleaning all the books. We had the chicco but then got a Fisher price precious planet. I should have went with the space saver.it would have saved space.

We had to get the space saver because of the size of our apartment, and I love it. I think even if had room to store a big highchair that I would still do the space saver.

I listened to my sister, who told me to get a traditional highchair. I kind of wish I had just gone with the space saver. Our kitchen is small, and it would have just made more sense.

I prefer the traditional highchair. We have both. I like that the traditonal high chair wheels, reclines better. I fold it up and put it away when its not in use. I also like that it doesn't take up my chairs and my chairs don't get dirty.

I have the graco blossom and i love it. I live in an apt and dont have a tob of room but it fits perfectly in the corner when not in use. I can wheel it anywhere (my dd loves sitting in it) especially handy when im cooking it puts her on my level. She loves that!
I sit in my kitchen chair and feed her just fine so whoever said you have to stand to feed that is completely untrue.
It has the attachment to attach to a chair. It has many options and grows with baby so you dont have to buy booster seats.
I personally love it and highly recommend it. I enjoy having a traditional highchair for dd. Especially when im cooking i put toys on the tray and she plays.

I have both that you mentioned - the SpaceSaver at my Dad's and the Blossom at home. I like the Blossom so much more than the SpaceSaver. The Blossom can be rolled anywhere you need. Once DD started feeding herself I would roll her into the kitchen with me so I could cook, clean up, or do whatever. And then the chair can also come off and be used like the SpaceSaver on aregular chair. We've done that at a friend's house a couple of times. So I feel like it's a very flexible chair, easy to clean, and doesn't take up a ton of room. DD is 20 months and still uses it sometimes.

We have a traditional high chair because we didn't have a kitchen table when DS 1 was born, just stools at an island.

Now with DS 2 we have a proper table and I would prefer the space saver (but, I don't see the point in spending more $$ to get one).

I have a regular high chair and I never have to stand to feed DD. It's a Graco just not sure of the style. It has wheels and sometime I wheel her into the LR and wheel her back to the kitchen, its so convienient. Sometimes I think to myself maybe we should have gotten the space saver BUT, then I'd be moving chairs. If you have the room for it, keep it. I put mine in the corner and when we eat dinner I just wheel her over to me and we all eat together. I also like the fact that the tray is level with me when we sit.

I have the graco diner duo and love it. I never have to stand, its also a booster seat so we can travel with it, it folds up and its sooo easy to clean.
The space saver would not have been practical for us, we only have 4 chairs at our table and we need all of them so the space saver would have taken up much needed space, not saved any.

Keep the space saver. Love it. We always bring it with us too to family/friends homes. Very portable

Both. Regular for home & space saver for family/restaurants.
