Hiding veggies
I know there are always moms looking for ways to sneak in veggies so I thought I'd share an idea. A few days before dd2 decided she was no longer going to eat purees I had roasted and pureed an entire butternut squash. So now I'm stuck with a freezer full of this stuff. I've been defrosting a cube or two at a time and adding it to all kinds of thing. I've used it in meatloaf, pancakes, mac and cheese, even applesauce and my 10 month old and 3 year old don't notice at all. It makes me feel a little better about giving them boxed mac and cheese or pancake mix lol. Making it doesn't take all that much effort and then freezing it in ice cube trays males it so easy to grab a little bit whenever you have the chance.

If only I could find a way to hide meat in my 3yos meals! She's actually good with veggies but currently only eats ham, sausage, and fish sticks. She touches nothing but green beans a few nights a week.
