Hi everyone!
Figured I would check in while DH is getting ready
We ended up in Baltimore and are heading to DC today. We managed to get a private tour of capital for tomorrow. We just kinda got in the car and drive with no destination in mind
It's been distracting and yes even slightly relaxing but the worry is still there. Yesterday was my birthday and I made it through almost the whole day without crying. We did jam pack the day so that helped.
But like I said its still on my mind. I have a few milestones to cross first being Wednesday with the CVS then on Friday waiting for the FISH results then waiting an additional week to ten days for the complete results.
I have no idea how ill make it through.
The waiting is going to be so hard. I'm an anxious person to begin with and this well it's bringing it to a new level.
And here I am with an MSW not even listening to my own advise of try to relax and I will get through it and I don't know until I know. I'm my own worse enemy.
DH and I have done a lot of talking and a lot of soul searching. We are prepared for the worse (as much as we can be) but hoping more than anything for the best. We know that if the time comes and we have to make a decision it will be the best one for our baby (first and foremost) and us. It will not be an easy choice either way and I pray we don't get that far. We are strong together And have a good marriage with a lot of communication. If this has done anything it's brought us even closer together. Before this I didn't think we could possibly be even closer but it's brought us there on a new level. I just keep praying that god grants is the strenght to get through this and to remain as we are bc i can also see how something like this no matter how close you are could rip a marriage apart.
I truly believe everything in life happens for a reason. I just wish I knew what this reason was.

I most of all want to thank all of you who have read my posts and the prayers you have sent out. They mean so much to me/us. But like always please keep them coming.

Glad you have been able to keep busy.... and as for having an MSW, I think that just makes us more hypervigilant and crazy! Haha! I always tell dh, this is what I would tell a patient but for me it's different!!!  hang in there and stay strong!!

I also know the proper advice to give but when it comes to myself, freak out and lose control. I sympathize with you. I not only pray that everything is ok with baby, but that you find peace as you await the results.
