Hi
I feel like I'm missing out on all the fun these days! My life is crazy, CRAZY between taking on the renovations in the new house, taking care of Alex and dealing with a new job with longer hours and restricted internet access  Did I miss anything? Any babies learn to talk yet?

Alex is GREAT! She's taking everything in stride, being such a ham and going to bed on time every night and sleeping until 6am Though she still hasn't mastered the art of crawling. Everytime I put her on her belly she screams bloody murder, so she's a "tushy-scooter" for now

Hi Beth! I was wondering how you are. I can't wait to see before and after of your house.
I'm also glad to hear Alex isn't crawling. I was beginnging to think Miranda was the only one. She rolls and turns herself around and on occasion gets up on her knees but that's the extent of it.

Nope, you're not the only one! Slow crawler babies unite! I have her 9 month appt. tonight so I'm going to discuss it with the ped, but from what I'm reading, it's not all that unusual. Ever since the American Pediatric Assoc. recommended back sleeping more and more babies are learning to crawl later, or just skipping crawling all together. As long as they're meeting all the other milestones, they're fine
