when people write "there" when they mean "their" and when they write "should of" when it really is "should have".

Dh gets so mad at me because I'm correcting his grammar all the time! Like today he wrote "should of" vs. "should have". He got annoyed at me and ignored my e-mail.

And also when people put 's when they mean plural and not possessive... that gets to me.

It annoys me too. I also hate it when people write "your" when they should really write "you're". I don't think it's a rushed typing issue for most people. I think they just use the words incorrectly and don't realize it.

Try being a high school history teacher. I have the AP kids and they get their "there, they're, their", etc. confused.
Oh, and forget about capitalizing proper nouns. I asked one kid the other day if I could see his ID. I said, "Just like I thought, your name is not e.e. cummings, YOU MUST CAPITALIZE!!!!
Hello, how can an AP kid not know this
