Sign up for formula checks now and the coupons seem to be good for around 4-6 months and you can use more than one at a time. Sign up at Enfamil, Similac and Good Start b/c you don't know which the hospital will put you on and which the babies will take to (I have a ton of similac and DS was just put on Gentlease, which is Enfamil, so I just signe dup this week )
You can do the same with diapers, I *think* the best prices are either Target or BRU and it may be the same with the formula. To be honest I am saving up my coupons because my SIL gave us a ton of diapers and formula when DS was born and I am going to have to buy my own for the first time in a couple of weeks--DS is 9 weeks old!

From my experience formula (at least what I use - RTF Similac Advance) is cheapest at BRU. I just buy diapers at BRU - but BJs is $1.00 cheaper.

we use BJ's usually - especially for the forumla. target is good when they have sales on diapers.

i get formula at BRU but i bought a big thing of powder from 1800diapers for the cheapest and no shipping fee

I use Luvs which they really only carry at Target in the mega packs. They are the cheapest IMO. $10.99 for roughly 84 size 1's and 75 size 2's. $15.99 for a case of around 220. They always have internet coupons floating around as well. Walmart carries Luvs, but they are much more expensive than Target.
I buy Target or Walmart brand formula, or even Sam's if I'm in there. It's all made by the same company and label for label, it's the exact same thing as Enfamil Lipil. It's $10-12 a can depending which store you go to. It beats paying $25 a can for the name brand.

I buy diapers at Target (also use coupons for them) and get my powered formula from BRU and use formula checks.

BJs has a big box of pampers baby dry (228 size 1 diapers) for $31.49
Powdered similac in the big can for $27.99. Costco has started carrying the similac cans also for $27.69.
Costco doesnt carry pampers though

I think a lot of it depends on what brands you use. Overall, I've found BJ's to be the cheapest, but I usuallly end up getting at BRU, which is the next cheapest for formula, at least.

Target for formula and Costo for their Kirkland brand diapers. I've also found Target to be easiest to use a bunch of coupons at one time without issue.

BJ's for bulk....
My SIL swore by Target Formula & diapers.
Also there is always a drugstore with diapers/formula on sale each week. Check the Sunday paper...
