worth it with a 2 year old? I also have a 5 year old?

And if so, any inexpensive, decent hotel recommendations?

Re: Hershey Park

We've gone the last 2 years when the boys were 6 and 4 the first time. THey both LOVE it. There's a lot to do and definitely a lot of rides they can go on. WE do the preview night and only stay one night. Just get a hotel outside of the park. One we stayed at was fine for a night and a little over $100. Boys love Hershey World and will go on the one ride there a few times. Plenty to do at the amusement park too. We live in NJ and took us about two and a half hours to get there.

I know a lot of people also suggest DW, which I believe is close by. My boys love a lot of rides and activities so I just figured they'd get bored there fast. JMO

They are only open for the Halloween event which starts after Columbus Day, so yes, definitely worth it. They do trick or treating, the park is decorated, and it's great. (They ARE open this weekend, but it's the last weekend until after Columbus weekend)

We have stayed at the Residence Inn Harrisburg/Hershey and it was good.

Id do Dutch Wonderland with kids that young. Hershey has a lot of thrill rides.

Absolutely. My kids are about the same age, and love it there. We usually stay at a Holiday Inn Express. It's a few minutes away, but usually the cheapest.
