A definite TMI post- be warned

Anyone else have the joy of these little suckers? I didn't even feel one at all, but after not going #2 for a couple of days, I went yesterday (with some struggle) and there was a little blood. I spoke to the Dr. and she said it was probably internal and nothing to worry about. Gross, I know. But let me tell you, it scared the cr@p out of me to see that blood. I hope now that I've had the first one it won't get worse.

Ok, I'll help you out on the TMI here....like three days before I went in for my c-section, I developed one of these lovely little devils and it was the most PAINFUL thing I've ever had! Like shards of glass in places the sun don't shine! It was horrible I thought I was so lucky because I had gotten through my whole pregnancy without them, then, just as a little joke from Ava, three days before I went in, I got em. FIGURES! However, as soon as they took Ava, they went away.

Nicole- my DR. suggested colace (stool softener). If I skip two days without going, I take one in the evening with 2 glasses of water.

Also, every night I take one Fibercon pill- also suggested by my doctor. In general, I can go every day or every other day now- SO much better- these help!!
