Here we go again...

Well after 3 failed IUI's...we are changing things up...I am adding Gonal to the mix now. I am currently on Femera, and Gonal...will then do an IUI. Anyone have any experience they want to share... thanksChat Icon

Re: Here we go again...

I always had a great response to gonal! (though, none to femara alone!)

It's easy and in my experience, relatively painless!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Good luck!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Here we go again...

i did well with femara and follistim (same as gonal). i found femara gave me a lot of night sweats but otherwise it was fine. for most injectable FSH meds (follistim, gonal), the main side effect is bloat. you shouldn't have too many other issues from it.
good luck!

Well, I also added gonal for my 4th IUI (my 3rd was chemical). I responded nicely, with 4 20mm follies and 1 17 mm. With femara alone, I always had two follies. So far, it looks like it was successful, as I got a BFP and my beta between CDs 13 and 15. I still won't feel comfy until I go for my 3rd beta on Wednesday though. I hope you have the same luck!
