help with window treatments
We have vertical blinds in most of the windows in our house. i would like to do something different in the bathrooms. is it weird to put horizontal blinds in the bathroom since the rest of the rooms have vertical? Please post ideas!! Thanks.

Re: help with window treatments
my mom has metal... they are getting rusty after long time use.
wood will warp.
plastic may be your only option. they will get moldy and mildewy, so if you get cheap, you can just keep replacing if bleaching stops working.

i dont think thats weird at all!
we have vertical blinds in the LR, horizontal in the DR and horizontal in both bathrooms
but i agree -- go with metal!

I say go for it. Mix it up. If you want wood, go for faux wood. www.justblinds.com has some decent prices and they are fast.

Re: help with window treatments
check out my bathroom pics. we have faux white wood ones in ours. We bought them at JCPenny. Go online, maybe they are having a sale. And I don't think it's weird that you put this sort of blind in the bathroom.
