Help with strollers
I am expecting my first child, and am extremely overwhelmed with finding the right stroller. I originally wanted the bugaboo, then I was told it was going to be a waist of money since it wasnt practical. So i started my research and was looking into the uppa baby cruze, or baby jogger citi select, citi mini gt, or citi elite. Can someone help me. I dont know who else to turn to.
thanks!

Re: Help with strollers
I'm a HUGE City Mini fan! We had the single for our first baby, and we bought the double after our second baby was born. It has a huge sunshade, it can recline to almost flat or sit straight up or anything in between. So easy to fold up and to open. I would always take my son out, hold him in one arm and fold up the stroller with the other. So easy! And it is such a smooth ride and maneuvers so easily. Ok I sound like a commercial, I'll stop now!

Re: Help with strollers
totally agree with the City Mini... we have twins and the double is SO easy to use and maneuver! I can fold it or open it in less than 10 seconds and boom, we're ready to go!

I don't mean to confuse you more, but check out Bumbleride! Excellent strollers.

We have a citi mini also and love it. I would just go to the store and play around with them. BBB has a better selection.

Re: Help with strollers
I have a City Mini and love it. Picking a stroller was such a hard decision. My advice is to go to the store, put another child or a heavy bag or something in it to act like the baby and test it out. Push it around, fold it up and put it on a shelf so you know what it will be like to put it in your trunk. Also, don't stress it too much because you will most likely end up with more than one stroller. I had a second (the City Mini) by the time DD was a month old.

Help with strollers
How old were your babies when you put them in the strollers- most of them say 6 months although they don't seem so sturdy. The citi mini has a very soft back doesn't seem like there is much support.
The vista is nice though I was looking towards the cruze since I'll be using the snap and go for the first couple of months.
Thanks for your support and responses.
I have gone to BBB although noone there really can help you - they cannot suggest a stroller and don't have much knowledge on each stroller.

You can use the Vista as a snap and go! That's actually why I picked that stroller. I also used the bassinet in the first few months and it was easy to switch out the car seat and bassinet. No need for another stroller with that one!
I put her in the stroller part at 3/4 months. They do sell a little snuggler thing that you can add in, but I found with it reclined it was supportive enough.

THIS! I love my uppababy too. It comes with a basinet you can use while the baby is an infant or with your car seat and special adaptor. There is NO other stroller out there that has a basket as big, there is so much room.

I have the Cruz and love it! The basket is HUGE and I switched DS over at 3 months bc it was just so comfortable. Definitely go into the stores and test them.

We got the UppaBaby Cruz too after deciding between the Vista, Bugaboo Chameleon, and Citi Mini. All of them are great, of course different price points too.
The Citi Mini is hands down the easiest to fold and very very light, but I agree with you on the seat back & support which is why we didn't get it.
The Vista & Bugaboo are amazing and versatile but just a bit too big / wide & heavy for our needs.
I would def look at them all in the store and try them out. You can't really go wrong with any of the ones you narrowed down to!
ETA: We are using the Cruz with the infant carrier adapter so we'll be using it from day 1.
