Help with parking near a train
Tomorrow I have to drive to southeast Brooklyn in the morning (not far from Howard Beach, Queens) and then I have to get on a train to Manhattan around noon (don't ask lol.)
I am looking for a SAFE place to park my car either near a subway or the LIRR without going too far east and backtracking too much.
I do not want to drive into Manhattan and I would rather not drive into downtown Brooklyn.
I don't necessarily mind paying for parking; I'm more concerned about making sure I can definitely get a spot midday.
I'm very familiar with the subway so as long as I can get to almost any line I'm ok.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: Help with parking near a train
I live by the F - Briarwood/Van Wyck stop, and there's usually a lot of parking...I dont think that's convenient though...but there's an app called ParkWhiz that I've used and it gives lists of nearby garages and prices that I founf really helpful.

Not sure if you'll get a spot midday but park in Howard beach and take the A train. You can try nearby in Ozone Park as well and park near Crossbay.
