help with my kitchen!
I've selected stainless appliances, with the exception of our existing dishwasher which is black. (Our stove has a black top and stainless body). I plan to have a stainless sink and brushed nickel faucet. Do I have to go with brushed nickel cabinet and drawer pulls? I really like black. Will that clash?

May look nice may not. We have all stainless and went with bronze for our pulls and handles and it looks great. I'd buy a black see if you like it, if you don't try something else. You can always return.

Re: help with my kitchen!
I don't think everything has to "match" as long as it "goes."
I just think if you are going to mix metals or finishes or colors, it should look intentional --like it was a design choice -- and not just sloppy or carelessly mismatched. I think if you make too many different choices, it can look too haphazard.
But to me, sticking with stainless steel/brushed nickel with some black mixed in is cohesive enough to be a design scheme, if you will. So I would try it.

I think the black will look fine.
Everything else is stainless/black. Go for it.
When I did knobs/pulls I used the blue sticky stuff to attach them and I lived with it for a day or two before making the commitment.
