Help with finding bottoms...

I would think I'm an apple shape Chat Icon

I gain all my weight in my stomach (especially lower stomach). It honestly looks like a permanent tube there...only if it had a deflate button. My hips are about the same size as my stomach so this makes buying skirts, short, jeans, pants hard. If I want them to fit my stomach then they are baggy on the butt and if they fit my butt then they are tight on the waist.

Does anyone else have this problem? If so, what brand do you buy? I'm sick of walking around holding up my pants or having a muffin top Chat Icon

To give you an idea of my shape I'm 5'3" 133lbs but have a 35" lower waist 30" waist and 38" hips.

I really feel your pain, I especially suffer because I'm also a DDD with a relatively small ribcage and if I don't define it, I'm one big round ball on legs.

I have had decent luck with gap curvy.

I really like, not your daughters jeans because they go high up and have room for tummy.

I love boston proper knit jean, but order 2 sizes down. They fit like a sweat pant. Def, casual.

As for pants I choose with lots of streatch, so they don't sag. I got a decent pair from Macys Inc

Other than that, I by what fits waist and have them tailored to fit tighter on leg and butt

Re: Help with finding bottoms...

I am similar, and the Gap Perfect Boot cut works for me, the waist doesn't come in at all, it goes straight up (no muffin top) and it is tight on my butt.

I am still searching for the perfect work pants, I love the editor cut at Express but they are expensive, and NY and Co. is good but not great.

I like the idea of bringing them to the tailors. These are going to be some odd looking pants once they're done.
