HELP!!!! Someone on here posted about giving Dogs OTC human drugs

Also Pepcid A/C cut into quarters. We had to give tiny that for a week, along with Amoxicillin

My dachshund takes 10mg of Pepcid, which is Pepcid regular strength (not extra strength). He takes it once a day for a few days when we notice tummy troubles. This is on the vet's advice.

Never, ever give a pet otc meds UNLESS you check with the vet first.

I was told by the vet I can give Roscoe Benadryl (sp?).

We gave Katie 1/2 a benedryl, and 1/4 pepcid twice a day when we were trying to shrink her tumor.
I'd check with your dr. though.

i've used benadryl many times for sophie when we've gone on flights (for a little sedation) or long car rides (for its anti-nausea benefits...she gets car sick). the chewable tablets work, or recently i got the rapidly dissolvable ones and found those to be the easiest to give.
