Help! She is up ALL night
DD sleeps and nurses ok during the day but once maybe 10 - 11 pm rolls around she will not sleep and be hysterically crying till maybe 2 - 3 am The only thing that calms her down temporarily is for me to nurse her but then she goes back to freaking out Needless to say I am not getting any sleep

Re: Help! She is up ALL night
Unfortunately, there is not much you can do right now since she's so young. My DS had his days and nights reversed for about two-three months - it was brutal. She will gradually switch but right now all you can do is sleep when she sleeps, even if it's daytime, and try to calm her as best you can. Sorry - wish I had some better news for you. Hang in there!

Rent some good movies, get a foot stool and a boppy, and find a comfy spot on the couch... You are doing everything right, just need time!

These is really the best advice...
BF babies tend to cluster feed at night (Ryan slept so well during the day- and was up every hour at night- I swore he had his days and nights confused.... but at this stage in the game your child still to young for that- as was Ryan...)
It does get easier...Sleep when she sleeps (that goes for naps as well)... and if she goes down at like 7, and begins to "cluster feed" @ 11... at least you got some hours of sleep in!
I kept nick at night on, and became seriously addicted to Roseanne - now that Ryan sleeps through the night... I actually miss all the re-runs

hahah.. i agree with marissa.. although jacob didnt breast feed, he was still up most nights, and I also became addicted to Roseanne.. how funny is that?!!! Also Blind date at 4am.. and Elimidate at 4:30... and now that Jacob is sleeping most of the night too, i kinda miss them!! (ok, not that much!!!) Hang in there, it does get better...
