Help, rolling in the crib

DD keeps rolling onto her belly and can't get back. Is there anything I can do to help her through this?

She has only rolled from belly to back twice and that was weeks ago. She can't figure it out since. Other than continuously flipping her back or letting her cry (which I'm not interested in) what can I do? Her other issue is she sucks her thumb and can't do it comfortably on her belly. She'll literally have her face planted on top of her whole hand face down.Chat Icon

I've been trying to help her learn to roll from belly to back but she's not even close.

I don't think there is much you can do to help her, other than to encourage her to try and learn to roll from belly to back herself. Maybe shake somes toys by her side and help her work on her muscles.

I agree with this. Also do baby sit ups with her so her core muscles are strengthened a little.

As far as her doing it in her sleep - DS did for a few weeks, then learned how to get himself back over and he was fine. There were many nights he would wake up screaming though because he was on his belly. It sucked, but luckily it wasn't for very long!!
