Help! Potty training
My dd is 2. I wanted to start potty training before gpin back to work in sept. Anyway, she has peed 4 times on thefloor..not once on the potty. Do i just give up n try when she is a little older. When she goes n i catch her..she says im sorry. Its like she understands but chooses not to go on the potty. Ive offered incentives to get her to go on the potty. Im at a loss..any advice is appreciated. Also, since she's has peed 4 times on the carpet im seeing stains..what do u suggest to clean the carpet. Thanks!

Re: Help! Potty training
I think kids can be ready in the early 2's. Some kids aren't. If you think she is ready and you go all in...expect 3-4 days of messes. Try to keep her out of carpeted rooms!

Re: Help! Potty training
dont give up just yet! my dd had accidents all day the first day, a handful the next morning and was potty trained by the middle of the second day. my ds had accidents all day the first two days, one poop accident the third day and no more after that.
it sounds like your dd understands the concept. i would keep trying with no diapers/pull ups for at least a week before giving up. i know that sounds like an eternity, but it just may take some time for it to click with your dd.
