Help! Pen ink on microfiber couch

My little stinker drew on my mf couch with a pen. I looked it up online and after sorting through many solutions I don't trust, cleaning it with rubbing alcohol seems to be the common reply on more reputable sights.

Has anyone done this? I'm afraid of it changing the color or worse. And it's on the chaise cushion that cannot be turned over if need be.

Or if you know another solution, I'd love to hear what works.

On a brighter note, he's getting very good at drawing squares. Chat Icon

Baby wipes. I have a mf couch. Ds drew with black crayon. Baby wipes got it up in secs. I also wash mine every few months in cold water delicate cyce and air dry. It says not to take the cushion covers off, but after cream of mushroom soup came blasting out of ds, i had no choice. Chat Icon

Re: Help! Pen ink on microfiber couch

Updated: I tried the alcohol on an inconspicuous spot and it dried fine so I did it on the ink - it came out IMMEDIATELY, it was quite impressive.

I usually do baby wipes as my go to stain cleaner but it was not coming out with them.

Good to know about the rubbing alcohol.

I've used hairspray on my MF couch to get out ink and that's worked as well.
