HELP! need opinions ASAP
I have to return the atlantic blue tile sample tomorrow and I know once i do...this decision will be much harder.
my dilemma is this...I originally planned on purchasing "Block Nogal" wood tile floors...but then I did a search online and found other wood tiles for almost half the price...so I'm SERIOUSLY considering changing over to these cheaper tiles...BUT I'm not crazy about the weathered brown or the cherry wood tiles from the cheaper manufacturer...now...the guy showed me a sample that he felt would go very well with my shower tile and it does go very well...BUT later today I got my vanity delivered and saw it in person and I'm REALLY questioning wether it's gonna work with the vanity or not. hubby likes it and says go for it but I am sooo panicked about buying something I'm not sure goes...
here was my original bathroom floor choice:
and here is with the new floor tile and accent tile:
original choice = $9 sf
bottom choice = $4.79 sf

Like the contrast of number 2, and it is cheaper

I feel like for the second option...the floor tile, shower tile and accents go...but it's the granite counter that has me so spooked about choosing it. the wood on the vanity doesn't look so bad against a large sample of the blueish tile on the floor...but i dunno about that granite...but now hubby keeps saying "ehhh its fine! go for it! it'll be fine!" and meanwhile I can't stop worrying about making the wrong choice
I always loved my first option...I just feel its "safe" and "matchy matchy" and even possibly very DARK...but I still think it would look good and be appealing to future buyers

What is the size of your bathroom?
#1 definately works and its safe but I do question if it would look too dark in a smaller room.
#2 is nice but I am not sure about the countertop and floor. Its hard to tell online. Does the floor pick up any color from the countertop?
I have seen similar tiles in an almost dark carmel color. That would be mid way between the very light and dark tones that you are showing. Maybe that would work?
