Help Me Please

DH and I are looking to go away for 4 nights with our DD who will be 1 & 1/2 years old. We will be going in late winter/early spring.

We need suggestions.

Here is what is on our MUST list:
-must be within driving distance, we do not want to fly.
-must be affordable.
-must have at least a mini-fridge in the room to store DD's milk/food.

Here is on our would like to have list:
-possibly inclusive for food (but not necessary)
-something interesting for us to look at/do while still being easy/appropriate to take DD around with us.

Please help!

Hi there!

Send me an email with the dates you are looking for and some info about what you like to do, like museums, aquariums, parks, and I will help you plan a fun affordable trip.

Anything that is all inclusive around here is certainly not affordable. Woodloch Pines, and Rocking Horse Ranch both come to mind. They look great, but very expensive. Pinegrove Ranch is all inclusive and within driving distance, and less expensive than the above, but the reviews are mixed. Many say it's outdated and dumpy. Some love it though. Smuggler's Notch looks fun, but if you don't ski, I'm not sure it's worth it.

Early Spring you could do Hershey's Springtime in the Park, along with the other Hershey attractions in the surrounding area. Great Wolf Lodge is another option, although I think 2 nights is plenty at that place. Nothing else really comes to mind for the Winter/early Spring, but hopefully someone else has some better suggestions!

Re: Help Me Please

Villa Roma might fit your bill, but it does not have a lot of sight seeing, it is more a relaxing type of vacation. What kinds of things are you looking to do? Do you want a kid focused, adult focused, or mix of things. I think Bargainmomma is right AI in NY are very expensive. Mohonk Mountain House is also an option but again super expensive. I think you will get a better deal doing things separately.

Re: Help Me Please

Woodloch Pines is great but very pricey. If you are willing to eat out or cook in, you can rent a house in the Springs section though, which will make it a little more affordable. You would still have free access to all of the amenities of the resort section.
Other, non inclusive options would be Newport, Philadelphia, Lancaster, or maybe Poconos.

I agree with the all inclusive thing.

For late winter/early spring I would try Washington DC or Baltimore. Philly is great too.
