Help me make tuna salad....
What do you put in your tuna salad when making it for a group? I usually put in mayo, onion, a little black pepper, some green pepper. I want it to be like the deli tuna salads. Help!Thanks!

I do light mayo, celery and sometimes carrots. I like onion too, but not everyone does. I've also done it on a wrap and drizzle a little balsamic, and top with alfalfa sprouts.

you could chop up broccoli or add raisins. A little lemon and shredded carrots are good too.

You can also squeeze a little bit of fresh lemon over the tuna before you add the mayo to help get rid of some of the fishy flavor.
In addition to the ingredients you listed, I like to add some finely chopped carrots and celery for crunch.

When I worked in a deli many years ago I made it with mayo (lots of it), lemon juice and celery. I still make it this way at home but sometimes use red onion in place of celery.

I asked the guy at my deli and this is what their secret was..
that and also to make sure you SQUEEZE all the juice out of the can when you make it

Not like the deli but this is amazing:
tuna - drained
chopped olives, chopped onions (I like to use red)
chopped tomatoes (remove seeds)
Capers
Fresh torn basil
Olive oil + lemon juice
Salt and Pepper

Like 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs and a squeeze of regular golden mustard.
I add the breadcrumbs in increments though b/c you don't want it to be grainy.
