Help! Married ladies, come in please

Sorry for the wedding nonsense, but it's nothing major. Probably should be on LIW but I'm more comfortable with you guys over here.

13 days until my wedding and I'm a nervous freakin wreck. I can't eat, can't remember anything and I'm a mess. Not over anything in particular, just a total nervous nellie.

Did any of you experience this? And, will it get better or can I expect to be even more of a mess in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks

I'm sorry that you are so nervous...it is natural though...I was stressed the week before my wedding, but the day of I was SOO Calm. Everyone thought something was wrong with me b/c i wasn't nervous...idk what to tell you i guess i was just really excited.
I hope in these last few days you can find some calm knowing that you are going to marry someone you can't live without! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

what you're going though is 100% NORMAL!

What I did was make a list of everything I had to do in the days leading up to the wedding. that list was a life saver for me!

you'll be ok! Chat Icon

Thanks ladies. I'm hoping by that day I'll be fine. You know, I think the family is contributing to the insanity because someone is always on the phone telling me I need to do something.

I feel ike I should be doing something but I have no idea what! Chat Icon

It didn't hit me until the day of my wedding. And, even then, not until after the coctail hour when we were waiting to be announced, I had to sit with my head between my knees beacuse I almost passed out from all the stress and excitement, etc.Chat Icon
It's totally normal. You've been planning this huge event for a long time and now it's coming down to the wire. It'll be ok, you will get through it. It's just par for the course. You will feel so relaxed the day after your wedding and all these nerves will be long forgottenChat Icon

I have a new PC since I got married and didn't transfer everything from my old one... so I can't post my to-do list.

The list started with the final fitting and then day by day what I needed to do after that. most of it was 3 days or less before the wedding - like final payments and drop off at the hall, OOT bags at the hotel, etc.

Weddings are a lot to think about. I lost 5 lbs in the last week from doing absoutely nothing.

I should get married every week, my body would be sick. Chat Icon

It's a lot to think about. You're mind is going in a million different directions. It's completely normal. Chat Icon

The last week I felt like this - I was just freaked out that it was all coming together and I had sooo much on my mind - ive heard of many brides losing weight from the stress that last week - best of luck it will subside and you will love your wedding dayChat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Help! Married ladies, come in please

i was great the final week--i was like in cruise control doing everything that needed to get done. i was a mess like a month before.

i would say work as long as possible! i only took the day before the wedding off. it gives you something to keep you busy.

Re: Help! Married ladies, come in please

I'm going to take all of your advice, definitely making myself a list, that should help me get an idea of what needs to get done.

As for dropping a few pounds, I'm always up for that but I"m sure the piece of cake I just "forced myself" to eat won't help matters Chat Icon
