Help!!! I need socks for big, fat little cankles!!!
Seriously - no socks are working for him and he keeps getting marks... even for older kids, they are still too tight in the ankle , but then too big in the foot area...

Re: Help!!! I need socks for big, fat little cankles!!!
we have the same problem. my ds is an 4 1/2 extra extra wide foot and has crazy chubby canklles! mainly i use a sock for a 3 year old but they are super long and can almost reach his knees so i fold them over. it isn't ideal or attractive but at least his cankles can breath.

My DS has the Fred Flintstone feet you speak of. I have found that the Target triple roll socks leave no marks nor do the Old Navy ones. The ones that fold down, not the thick ones. Anything with a band on the top doesn't work obviously but these 2 brands seem to be fairly comfy on his dogs.

I have PG cankles and G-d bless my mother, but she had a stack of unused socks meant for diabetics with neuropathy and other circulatory issues so I took them. They are a lifesaver for me. Perhaps they make them for children? Just a suggestion.

My DD wears a 4 1/2 XW also. I LOVE Old Navy Socks. They are comfy. They are the cotton turn cuff socks. They never leave marks on DDs chubby footsies.

I have this problem too! The Gap socks with the cuff work best for us.

I 100% love these socks. They are the only ones that fit Gavin.

I like oshKosh socks the best, you can get them at the outlet or BJs. I also buy the $1 socks from old navy.
