Help! I have no idea what that was...
and I didnt like it. I was on break in my office and suddenly I felt my belly tighten, menstrual like cramps in my lower belly and upper thighs. It lasted for like 30 secs and it definately was not comfortable. Was that a braxton hick contraction?

It def could be BH. Did you feel it come from your back forward? or just the belly tighten?
I would start to keep a mental time table if they happen again just to be sure.
But that def sounds like BH to me.

Sounds like BH to me! Just keep track of them to make sure they are irregular.
When I've gotten them, my belly tightens and it hurts, but not a ton. One day they really hurt tho.
Are you drinking water? Sometimes you get them from being dehydrated.

I have been drinking water but I have a sinus infection so maybe not enough? I dont know. I just know that it hurt pretty bad.

I never had painful BH contractions. If it happens again, take a look at the clock and try to see if there is any pattern developing. Drink a lot of water too!
When is your EDD?

Im due 4/5. It happened an hour ago again. If I get anymore Im calling the doctor. I thought the difference between real contractions and BH was that the BH ones dont hurt.

WHen you said that it really hurt, thats why I asked. I had TONS of BH cx with my second baby, but they never hurt. When they hurt I was in labor.
It could just be your body telling you to slow down and drink some more water.

I know its easy for us to say, but try to relax, breathe, drink some water, take a nap when you get home.
