Help! How to wear a gift...

So I received two Pashmina scarves/wrap/shawl things in very similar colors. Now, I'm a very plain jane type of dresser. When I go to work, I wear very simple shirt and pants or skirt in the spring. Nothing really trendy or too fancy. I know, sounds boring. On days off, I tend to stick with leggings and comfy warm shirts, jeans and t-shirts, again nothing trendy.

Now I have these and of course no gift receipt. If it were a regular plain color scarf, I could pull it off, but this looks like fancier material. One is from MIL and the other is from DH's aunt. We are going to a show with MIL and FIL on Sunday (def long story about that but not necessary here). Anyway, I thought I could show I use it by wearing it to the show. How do I wear it??? It seems pretty big to just wrap around my neck like a scarf, but again, not trendy here, so any suggestions??? One is a minty green, the other is minty green mixed with blues.

With those colors, maybe sure to wear a mostly black outfit, you'll look very sleek!

Take the pashmina, fold in in half and wrap around your neck. Take the 2 ends and pull through the loop. The video above probably describes it better
