HELP! Home Preg. test ?
Hi, I am new to the site, and need your help! I am late, but not by much...took 2 Home pregnancy test, and they were both negative. I am turned off by smells, am nauseous throughout the day. My breasts are swollen, and I have weird feelings in my stomach...not pain, just "different".
I went to DR, he gave me a urine test, and also came back neg. He said that I should just wait for my period, and let him know if I don't get it in 1 week. I have NEVER been late, and I am now worried that something else is wrong if I'm not. Oh, and I cannot stop going to the bathroom!!!!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you in advance!

Re: HELP! Home Preg. test ?
I think I would just hang tight for a few days. I don't know too much about false negatives or false positives, but it would seem to me if you took a few tests and have already missed your period, then you are probably not pregnant. However, that doesn't mean anything is seriously wrong either. I would take the doctor's advice, hang in there for the week, and if you don't get your period then talk to the doctor again. It is tricky business with pregnancy symptoms, they are very nonspecific.
Good luck and let us know what happens.
