Help! He won't lay on the changing table anymore

Now that DS has started doing his army crawl he only wants to be on his belly. When we lay him down on his changing table he just rolls onto his belly. It has become impossible to change him. It is beyod frustrating. Any BTDT advice? Thanks.

I had to stop changing DD on the changing table early on because she refused to lay still...then I started changing her on either my bed or the floor. I tried giving her different things to hold and play with to keep her busy and from rolling all over the place.Chat Icon

Honestly, it only gets worse...wait until DC can stand! I don't like the floor myself b/c it is too much surface area and i have less control so ds is halfway across the room bare bottom many times. What i do is keep an endless supply of "new" toys in the draw in his changing table. I lay him down and immediately give him the toy to distract him and then I work QUICK!

I will be honest, it wont get better. Noah started that around that time and is almost 16 months and its worse. Just try to hang in there and distract him best you can.

I just moved to the floor when that happened. I was ready to use the top as a dresser anyway so it didn't really bother me.
