Help for burns...on hands
I burnt two of my fingers pretty badly on boiling sugar. Is it ok to treat at home? I do think they are 2nd degree burns, its very painfull...blistered fast and is splotchy red....
what do I do?

Aloe is pretty good for burns. My grandmother always had an aloe plant in the kitchen.
Bacitracin (sp) is ok too.

Aloe right from the plant. Works wonders and saved me from some horrific scarring.

I don't know if this is only by prescription, but Silvadene worked wonders for DH when burned himself barbecuing.

I believe Silvadene is prescription, I use it all the time, it does work perfectly
