HELP!! Anglecare monitor!

I've set-up my Angelcare monitor and when I put it on Channel A all I get is static, even when I move to another room. On channel B I clearly hear somebody else in the neighboorhood. (Which is odd because the nearest kid is a LONG way away.)

My baby has sleep apnea and I was hoping for a night of sleep. Any ideas?

its not by something else plugged in by chance is it? i notice sometimes if my cell phone is charging near the monitor in m room its static..i have to put it as far as i can from it

You sure you're putting BOTH his monitor (in his room) & the one you have elsewhere in the house on A or BOTH on B? I made that mistake, I put hers on 1 and the other one on the other letter, and I heard ice cubes dropping into someone else's glass.

That monitor ROCKS, love it!

I actually don't use the handheld monitor that goes with it, I have it set up under his mattress with the base in his room and then I also have a video monitor. If the angelcare monitor goes off (and I have tested it numerous times ) I can hear it through the regular monitor loud and clear!

I did that so that I wouldn't need both the video handheld monitor and the angelcare one in my room since my nighttable is so small. Hope that made sense.
