Help AC Unit won't work
This morning I went to turn it off using the buttons on the unit. The buttons didn't work. I couldn't do anything so I hit the reset button on the power plug. It went off but I can't get it to turn on again.
What gives? The outlet works with another appliance. Should I reset the breaker?

The house breaker won't do anything. Is there a breaker on the AC unit? If other devices work in that outlet, it definitely isn't an outlet problem. There might be a circuit breaker in the AC unit that can be reset. I've seen some units that have it on the plug, while others have it in the control panel somewhere. You may need to look up the model number on-line to get details on the unit.

the reset button on the plug doesn't work. How would I find it behind the control panel? I may just have to call the pros.

I don't know why it worked for DH but he unplugged it and plugged it back in and hit the reset and it works.

The old "Have you tried rebooting it?" fix....
