Help - something under the bed
So my 3 yo was screaming at 1:30 because something is under his bed - he made me look and after I told him there was nothing there he told me to go back to bed. But of course it happened again an hour later, than every 5 minutes until it was time to get up. He kept asking "who's here" and "who's coming". I kept explaining that nobody was in the house or could get in our house etc but I don't think a 3yo can comprehend any of that. I felt bad b/c he was genuinely frightened and I don't know what to do if this happens again.
I knew this would happen eventually with all kids but I thought it would be when he was a little older

Toddler bed? Stuff a blanket under there & show him nothing can fit under the bed any more.

For my nephew, they do the "monster spray" thing each night...they have a spray bottle that they decorated to look like "monster spray" and spray water in the closet and under the bed each night. I think she found the idea on pinterest or something but he totally buys into it!

Help - something under the bed
Maybe remove the toys or show him it just a shadow. The same thing happen to my DS, he kept telling me there was a monster by his closet. And I kept telling him no there isn't suck thing as monsters. Well after a week of it, I went to put him for a nap and he said of again pointing. It kind of creeped me out because he was dead serious he was seeing something. Turned out to be the shadow from his buzz light year bag. I showed him that it was just a shadow and he was fine after that. I also removed the bag.
He may be hearing or seeing something and interpreting it as monsters.

We have the sound machine (and the a/c) on so I cant imagine he hears anything . He just informed me he isn't sleeping in his room tonight - I made him look under his bed to see nothings there but in his head things just "appear". Ughhh.....
