Help! - Need OB/GYN Recommendations!!

Hi everyone,

I am a new member and was hoping I could get some good advice from this forum. I don't have an OB/GYN (didn't really like the last one that I had).

I'd like to deliver at either Winthrop University, Northshore in Manhasset, LIJewish or even Nassau University Medical Center. I plan on having an all natural birth - so the less invasive the better.

If you can share your stories with me I would really appeciate it. I want a doctor that I feel good about (doesn't everyone?). I don't want to just pick someone out of a directory.

One of my friends highly recommends Dr. Goldstein and Dr. Trufelli. I think they are on Northern blvd in Manhasset . I don't have the info but you'll find it if you google it. They are high risk but also take non high risk patients and they are affiliated with LIJ .

I think my friend said Dr. Trufelli doesn't deliver any more, but Dr Goldstein does and they are both wonderful. I know someone else who used them and she was very happy as well, I was planning on going to them but I need to deliver at Mt Sinai so had to find someone affiliated with the hospital.

I know Great Neck OBGYN is affiliated with NSUH. I used to go there but I didn't like their hours.

I go to Women's Comprehensive and they are affiliated with LIJ.

Both offices are great.
