Re: heels

I've stopped wearing heels. I'm onto ballet flats now. I just figured enough of me is aching already, why add my feet to the list?

Re: heels

in the third trimester we have to be extra careful because our balance is not as great with all the changes that happen.

I wear heels rarely, and usually after a couple of hours my toes get numb in them.

I'm transitioning to flats now. I still wear heels on occassion, particularly if I know I am going to be sitting alot that day...but they are def starting to bother me more and more.

Re: heels

I was wearing heels last week at 34 weeks and still plan on wearing mine. I have been lucky those, no swollen feet.

Same here, I'm 30 weeks.
People keep telling me to wear flats but they hurt my knees if I wear them too long.
I mostly only wear heels to work and to special occasions though, flops on the weekends.

Re: heels

I am not much of a heel person to begin with, but if I am comfy in them then I am still wearing them. Most of my everyday heels are 2 inches, my dress heels are 3-4 inches, I had a wedding 2 weeks ago and wore them, I will say by about 1am all I could think about was getting them off!

Re: heels

I will use ANY excuse not to wear heels. I have a lot of aches and pains this week, so I would not wear them right now.

Re: heels

Re: heels

I always wear 2-3 inch heels in the winter and colder months. Im due December 27th and I am not going to be wearing my heels this year. I actually have to go out and buy some new shoes because I only own one pair of winter flats.
ETA: I would wear kitten heels, but nothing higher.

Re: heels

Well, I was thinking I would wear my lower heels, but I recently discovered my feet are bigger, and most of my shoes don't fit well anymore!

Since I'll need to buy some new shoes, I'm planning to get flats. I wore low heels yesterday, and even in those, I felt a little wobbly at times. I'm 29 weeks.
