Good luck to him. DH went yesterday and he said it was not that bad. On the other end of this, I am about to be poked and prodded with needles and hands and instruments. oh , the joys of having a baby.

All men involved with IF should have to go through a full workup with a urologist -- AND a proctologist -- just to get a SLIGHT idea of what we go through!!

It surely will make him more sensitive to what you will be going through. No question.
I think DH "got it" the first time he saw a speculum at one of my AIH's. He grabbed me so hard his knuckles turned white. I asked him what HE was worried about - I do this all the time.
