Heated Pool
Hi ladies! I'm new here. I just found out that I'm pregnant. Just about 4 1/2 weeks. I had cramps and thought I was about to get my period. I went into a thalassotherapy pool twice right before my missed period. I've Googled like crazy and see that got tubs are bad. It seems like the average temperature for a thalassotherapy pool is 91°. Should I be concerned? I don't want to be calling the doctor every 5 minutes! Thanks!

I would definitely not be concerned if it were me. One, you went in before your BFP and you're still very early. I take hot baths (not like hot tub hot but hot nonetheless) even now at 38w. The problem is if it raises your body temp. I was never told I couldn't take a hot bath by my dr.

ETA: I was also never one to be overly cautious with anything during my pregnancy. I'm pretty lax about most things - I eat sushi, cold cuts, take hot baths, etc.

I would not worry about it they embryo is very small at 4.5 weeks you should be fine. I was told no hot tub or sauna but hot baths are showers are safe.
